Be sure to go down Slide Rock in Oak Creek Canyon. You'll need a swimsuit, but it's the most fun. A high-school friend introduced me to it before Sedona was discovered by tourism. We felt as if we "owned" the place!

Connie, I've been by there. We camped at a FS campground in Oak Creek Canyon which was overrun by skunks every night. Quiet an adventure. Could stop at Slide Rock because we had our dog with us....planning on doing it next time for sure!
