This whole scene is breathtaking and beautiful. Not sure how you got an image like this as it does look like the clouds are resting on the earth! V/F

Lenore, thank you! It's been some time ago that I took this picture but I believe that this was actually a fog bank nestled agains the front range. Where I live is higher in elevation than Colorado Springs and gives one a perfect vantage point.
